Chih-Kuei (Alex) Hu

Patent Attorney

Alex Hu performs various tasks related to patent preparation and prosecution for clients in the Semiconductor, Electronics, Circuit Design, Communication, Software and Computer Science. His technical expertise covers diverse fields, including integrated circuits, semiconductor process, LCD, wireless technologies, telecommunications as well as chemical and material science. Prior to his legal career, he was a senior semiconductor engineer.

Prior to founding ipPivot, Alex prosecuted patents in boutique law firms in the great Washington D.C. area and managed IP department in Taiwan corporations.

Alex also participated in volunteering the Patent Pro Bono Program hosted by USPTO and the Federal Circuit Bar Association to assist independent inventors in preparing and filing patent applications.

Alex is licensed in NJ, DC and USPTO.
